Balloon Centerpieces You Can Make
Balloon centerpieces are fun and they work for every type of party or function. You can buy balloons to match your color scheme and those that are printed with messages, or have a mixture. Try and buy good quality balloons as you don't want to be wasting money with lots popping as you make your centerpiece. Before you start to make any balloon centerpiece you will need something to blow them all up, it could be helium which you can hire from a party shop or an old fashioned balloon pump. Either work better then having to blow the balloons up yourself, we once had to blow all the balloons up for a New Year party as the pump broke and would never want to do that again!
Let's start with the helium, if you hire a cannister you will be able to create a simple but stunning centerpiece. All you will need is ribbon, balloons and something to weight them to the table. Blow up the helium balloons in the colors that you have chosen and then tie with ribbon. Group all of the balloons for each table together and then stagger the balloons so that they are at different heights, making it look more interesting. Then secure them to the weight. You can buy balloon weights or make your own by filling a balloon with flour or even water. You don't have to use helium, it is expensive, so to avoid that cost you can look at blowing up your balloons with a hand pump and then securing it to a plastic tube or create a pyramid effect by tying them together. When you design your centerpiece you need to make sure that it works where you want it to go. There is no point having a stunning balloon table centerpiece if no one can see the other guests at the table! Have fun with your balloons!
