Graduation Table Centerpieces

Graduation table centerpieces are a must when you are celebrating such a great achievement, years of hard word work have got you to where you are now and although this is a special time you don't want to spend a fortune.

Photographs and lots of them are a key part of a graduation party, you want to have time to chat about all the fun times you have had and why not have the photographic evidence to get that started! You could have the photos framed for each table - those photo cubes would be a fun way to display them.

If you are graduating from a college or school then there is bound to be their colors that you can use for your table decorations. You could have the table linen and decorations all themed to the colors. Cheap ways to do this are with balloons and you could use the college logo for your base.

The images that spring to mind with a graduation are the mortar board, see if you can borrow enough for your tables as they are too expensive to buy for a one off event. If you are planning on running a graduation event every year then the cost can be spread over the years. Turn the mortar board upside down and fill it with tissue paper, then make a fake graduation certificate complete with ribbon and a seal and place this in the mortar board. Next type out fancy Congratulations labels and personalize them if this is appropriate and use these to wrap around the centerpiece. If you feel you need more decoration add anything else you want - it could be sparkles, balloons, or even the school scarf.

Make sure you don't forget the graduation cake, this is great to use as a centerpiece on a buffet table or have a seperate cake table so you can cut the cake for the photos.

Also, don't forget the Kleenex! Lots of happy tears will be the order of the day!
